Golf - Advice for beginner?

[tvrforever]

Ok so having 'played' a 9 hole round with friends over the weekend I'm keen to get into this 'hunt the ball' game...

I've a couple of local clubs - but can you normally just turn up and play? what's the expected dress code for a beginner? should I have leassons with the pro? any ideas re clus / starter kit?

Help needed and appreciated :)

Step 1: Buy a Chimaera.

Did you know you can get two sets of golf clubs in the boot?
