Picture the scene> My misses picks up my children from school and on the way back there is a 9 year old boy playing chicken in the road running in between parked cars right in front of oncoming cars.

Misses tells him to stop it. misses gets a mouthfull from a 9 year old kid.

Next day she tells the headmaster( kid walks to school and we don't know the parents) about it hoping that he will have a word to avoid a possible accident stopping the little chav from getting run over.

I go to pick up my chidren from school today and I am told the Mother of this little chav was hanging around in the morning looking for my misses saying she was going to batter her for getting her son in trouble:rolleyes:

What the hell is wrong with people? Is it us?

'Fraid so. The mistake your missus made was not leaving the little chavlette to the forces of Darwinism...

Just tell your missus to buy her a couple of Irn Bru Wkd's and I'm sure she'll forget the whole thing.

Think about what the kid said though...
"mum, this woman had a right old go at me all I was doing was waiting outside school"

not...
"mum I was doing something really dangerous and a lady tried to stop me killing myself".

It´sjusta bit of a shame that the result of negligent parenting can be dead kids rather than dead parents.

Mrs Ripton was pushing a screaming Ripton jnr into the sipermarket in a trolley the other day when some bloke said "oi luv you want to luv it not ignore it" It was explained to him in a rather frank manner that if you pander to every attention seeking tantrum then kids will never be able to understand the meaningod no.

Are the role models perhaps home? Kids are very vulnerable to influences. But lets also remember that we adults treat each other so badly that it makes me wonder that for most of the people it´s enough as long as they get what they want and shite about others. More often when you offer kindness you get rudeness back at your face. That is just the world we are living today.
