Found this website www.foreversummer.co.uk and was intrigued, so i decided to give it a go and bought a copy and well i was pleasantly surprised...it arrived next day and really chilled me out last weekend whilst reading the Sunday papers!

My ‘old gal’ laughed me at when I told her what id done, but even she’s come round to the idea (and she’s northern!;)).

Thought id share this with you.. :)

What do you think?

That sounds like something my Mum would like while reading. Whats on the DVD, how long etc etc?

It’s a mix of different sceneries that split into chapters. A fixed camera is positioned over a scenic area (such as a lake) and nothing moves except nature, you get (real) ducks quacking and birds twittering away and if you leave the window open (for a breeze) its like being outside. I suppose the guy/woman who started it could market it for the housebound older person who can’t nip out to appreciate reading a book in the park...

this reminds me of a digital radio station that just has the 'bird-song' playing on it 24 hours a day, occasionally you can hear a crow etc. dont know if its still available, and i cant remember the channel. not the most helpful post ever i grant you...

having a brainstorm - it might have been channel D11, i dont have a digital radio to check, but its completely addictive and lovely.....

I've heard this before on different analogue stations and believe it is merely used as a test signal until the station starts broadcasting properly...
