Films depicting the "swinging sixties".....

[Wacky Racer]

As a fan of films depicting life in the fifties and "swinging
sixties", especially in London, such as "A kid for two
farthings", "The leather boys", "Blow up", and "The London nobody
knows", one film I never tire of watching is "Up the Junction"
starring a very young Dennis Waterman, Suzy Kendall, Maureen Lipman
and Alfie Bass (As the seedy antique dealer)........

Worth watching for the footage of the Triumph 650 Bonnevilles and the
drophead Jaguar "E" type alone........:-)

Anybody else got any favourites in a similar vein????

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

Not London- but remember Coogan's Bluff?

A hammy Clint Eastwood movie and the scenes in the nightclub (The Pigeon Toed Orange Peel) are cringeworthyly dated

"Alfie" 1965, Michael Caine. Humour, pathos, everything. Classic.

Blow Up.

Rediculous script notwithstanding. The Yardbirds with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page were a bit of a head turner.

Anything with Judy Geeson in it.
