I suppose I'm contradicting myself here but who really gives a stuff?

The breakfast news this morning told me this fact. Kate Moss is going to spend £3000 per night at a rehabilitation clinic in America.

Thats £3000 per night.

Thats right, three thousand pounds a night. (3 Grand)

The funny part - well this £3K per night gets her a room with hardly any creature comforts.

I've never been one to use the phrase 'Blonde Bimbo' but isn't there some irony here?

Kate, if you're reading - I have stripped out my bedroom and now have just one bed, a small table and a jug of water. I have hung your name on a tag on the outside of the door. My house is in England, so your travelling expenses will be drastically reduced. My introductory fee is zero pounds, infact I'll give you some money if you spend your time at my clinic. (No maximum).

[small]BLONDE INDEED[/small]

At £3k per night she's just doing the PR stunt to show her remorse.

Give it 6 months and once all the dust has settled, got back with Pete and landed a few contracts she'll be back to sticking as much coke up her bugal as she can.

£3k a night?? I wonder how many tellies she can get for that

Its all about perception. The contracts she lost were not as a result of her taking drugs, but of the companies not wanting the bad press. She is in rehab because she wants to regains the 'public trust'. Not for herself, but so she can go back, and work for these multi million pound contracts...

I agree Andy.

Other people have been here though, such as Gazza and Kerry whats-her-face from Atoms Cat. Surely not the same reason as K.Moss is going in.

It still begs the question, Why £3K. Hideous money.

It never ceases to amaze me how we are continually shown that there is one rule for some and another rule for others...generally dependant on your level of fame or wealth.
As she is famous she is using the 'escape route' of "Re-Hab". If this was a member of 'joe public' they would probably be facing prosecution, possible jail time and even social services on the doorstep to take her kid away!!

Don't be so stupid. If it was a member of 'joe public' they'd get an all expenses paid trip to Disneyland.

Give her a few months and either it will be 'I'm a celebrity' (the snorting no-nose Danniella Westbrook)
or some other overpaid job on the telly.
I think this teaches childen the correct path to take in life

She can afford it so whats the big deal?

In fact that goes for the drug use too!

There have been no reports that she's behaved as anything other than a good mother to her child, and there is no suggestion either that she has failed to tun up for work, or be in in a state unfit to work.

Surely if she was a member of the public some 'rumours' of her being a drug user would have garnered exactly no interest from employers and police alike. Pure trial by tabloid. Kate responds in like terms with rehab by tabloid as the fix. Suprise Suprise...

She's more than likely made millions over the years modelling, so £3k a night to her is merely a drop in the ocean.

It's all relative. To us, slaving away day in day out for an average wage, making mortgage payments, etc...it's hideous money. To her, living a jet-set life with an over inflated bank account, it's pocket change.

Makes me laugh that they've all pulled their contracts.

Like the fashion and media executives involved with writing contracts and reporting news are strangers to cocaine.

Hypocrits the lot of them.

But saying she is a perfectly good mother, and no other trouble with her is not going to sell papers is it... Sensationalism, and personal attack does.
