quick urgent airline question
Discussion
just about to book a flight with continental - if the bulk head seats have gone are the seats in front of the bulkhead the best - ie they have more room behind u and so wont mind so much if i recline? ( for economy )
just checking those ones arent any smaller or dont recline? its for a 777 and a 767
thanks!
Above the wings are normally spacious, depends on the plane, going out to rhodes on a 737 we were 2nd row in, a 6ft2 mans knees were touching the seat in front and then the woman in front reclined her seat!
She had twice the space we did. On way home we were above wings and had a lot more space.

good call knew there was a website like that somewhere!
what do u think - on this map row 24 is free and i'm thinking nearer the front the better the air or row 33 as it says on here an extra inch of legroom?

Don't assume that because you can't select and exit row seat online that there aren't any available. Most airlines want to get a look at you before assigning one. For example, they need to know that you look physically capable of operating the exit doors, and one would like to think that they would give priority to tall people.
If you do the self-service check-in for BA flights, you can never pick an exit row. When you get to the fast bag drop, they will often release a seat an assign it to you.
I would recommend getting to the airport nice and early and asking them politely.
