Went to the cinema with a few mates last night to see this, for those who don't know its a low budget Australian horror movie that's loosely based on the true story of the late eighties backpacker murders|http://www.crimelibrary.com/serials/milat/milatmain.htm

Anyway, whilst it was very slow to start (some call it character development but it really did drag) it turned into a suprisingly scary and well directed film with some really shocking moments and excellent acting from the lead cast (especially the villain).

If anyone likes a good horror flick then take a look, it's certainly not comfortable viewing and I left the cinema not really sure if I enjoyed it or not, however after thinking about it a lot today i've decided it is definitly a film worth reccommending.

Anyone else seen it yet?

Didn't see the movie but as it's been a slow day I read the link that you posted and some other stories from the www.crimelibrary.com site...

We live in a very creepy world.

Saw it last night. Similarly, its difficult to say you "enjoyed it" but it was certainly a good effort in what is a tired genre.

Not as out-and-out violent as reviews had lead me to believe, but it's still extremely shocking.
