I'm one of a very select group of priviledged individuals working out in the new village of Cambourne in Cambridgeshire which, for those who have never been, is devoid of any form of any lunchtime entertainment barring Morrisons 'Super'market emporium.

I've just been told that we'll soon be getting a Chutney Joe's opening up by someone who seemed far too excited for their own good. A quick google later has found a website largely under construction and nothing that you'd really class as a helpful review.

So, anyone on here ever been? If so, is this just a typical indian restaurant with modern decor, or is there something more to this place that would warrant further inspection?

If it is related to Chutney Mary in New Kings Road in London it should be good. CM gets good reviews and is on my list of restaurants to try. If it is no relation, then I'm talking bollox again and you're on your own

As long as it's no relation to "Chutney Ferrets" of Brighton then you'll be fine

As long as it's not like Pickle Pete's or Mango Mary's, you will be ok. I heard that Pickle Lillies is OK.

I do, my concern though, haveing spoken with some friends who live in the village, is that the developers seem to have lashed together some of the houses and subsequently they probably won't stand the test of time.

On the news of a pub I understand that a chain have signed up (who I forget the name of but don't think they have any establishments in the area at the present time) and will be providing an establishment early 2006.
