Big queue reported outside Morrisons in Wycombe this morning. I filled up at Tescos in Camberley just now, busy for sure, but no mega queues. Yet.
I'm sure tomorrow/Weds will be interesting.
I'll be honest, I was planning on refueling on the way home tonight, but since I was passing and I saw quite a few cars waiting I decided to fill up while there wasnt a proper queue. Lets hope we don't get to panicstations like last time.

Ahh good old Tas spinning for the party since 97

Cool... so how much fuel is being wasted whilst sat in queues for fuel...!??!
Some of the guys reported at lunch they say huge queues (1/2 mile in both directions) at filling stations.
I filled up yesterday and if I pass a station that's empty I'll probably top up. Although somehow I think the office are just expecting me not to turn in

huge queues at ASDA in west bridgford, none in central nottingham...that ASDA has the 3rd cheapest fuel in the country according to the currant bun (91.9) so queues are to be expected I suppose

I live in hyson green old chap but I work in bridgford - have you seen my metallic green mini with improbably wide arches parked on the yellows at the top of central avenue? it has a large pistonheads.com sticker on the windscreen

It's funny how people will go across town to save (a large percentage on the per-gallon price) maybe $5 or $10 max on a fill-up of fuel, but if you told them they could drive across town to buy a suit or refrigerator for say $20 less than they can get it close to home, they won't bother. Frequently they burn enough fuel going out of their way for the "bargain" fuel that they actually lose money on the deal.
The day after Katrina here in the States, there was a little panic buying here in the Northwest, no-one here ran out so the panic faded.
