Watched this last night....what utter BS!!!
The so-called celebrities are who? FFS???? Mostly failed or foreign nonentities??? How about the (dare I say it) actress (?) from Bad Girls, or the Latino from CHiPS?
How the F**K did these people get a license? and why don't these people get pulled and banned from driving??? Not only bad drivers but damned dangerous!!!!
Lets get rid of the gatsos and scamerati and get the Traffic BiB back on the streets!!!!

Wouldn't watch such utter bilge - but some of them seem to be jobbing actors. Maybe they are ACTING?

Not to mention Grace Kelly, Giuseppe Farina, Frank Williams, Cozy Powell, Marc Bolan, Harry Chapin, Eugene Schumacher (only a "celebrity" if you're into geology and space).

James Dean was an american. I'll give you Marc Bolan to use instead.

These programmes actually glorify and give celebrity to dangrous idiots.

That appalling woman from a series a few years ago got herself an agent and made public appearances on the back of the fact that she was undoubtedly a public menace and potentially lethal. Without question she should never have been allowed behind the wheel of a car.

I wonder how hilarious it would have all been if she had mounted a kerb and killed a small child?

What annoys me is that although not explicit there is an implicit suggestion in the way this programme is made that it is somehow cool to be a bad and dangerous driver.

That's exactly my point - it's all portrayed as entertaining, fun and rather endearing....

They weren't celebrities but I saw some classics this weekend, best one was an Astra van I was behind bizzarely speeding up then slowing down, weaving etc.

When I overtook I saw that the two occupants were deeply engrossed in conversation with each, the driver was also on the mobile phone, whilst both were busy muching on sandwiches I presume he was steering with his knees..........still he wasn't breaking the speed limit and as we know 'speed kills' driving like a without due care and attention is safe.

Still if these people are shown on the TV that this kind of driving is funny/cool who can blame them eh?

Isn't it strange that police don't arrest these people, when they have videod their dangerous driving...... Same as the guy who used to do police stop or whatever it was, driving along looking into the passenger footwell at the camera, rather than watching the road ahead..

To brutal though isn't it the case that accidents and fatalities at a certain level are really rather welcomed by the scamera partnerships as they can be used to justify more revenue raising scameras which in turn means larger teams to montior/run the partnership, and a promotion for the guys who run the regions scheme, higher salaries etc.

That was the most unwatchable TV I have ever seen.

The sound recordist and/or editor needs a refresher course in the basics.

Quentin's voiceover was barely audible over the background noise in many parts.

Dreadful, dreadful TV.

David Winstanley's stuff on Men & Motors is better quality than that tosh.

So it wasn't just me then.

I honestly don't think anybody watched it before transmitting it - the sound levels were awful, sometimes varying mid sentence and I was playing with the volume all the way through. Not to mention the bit where they said "see you after the break" and then it cut back and showed the previous 5 minutes again.

The only 2 I had ever heard of were John Noakes and Brian Blessed, so hardly celebrity! Agree it makes light of a very serious subject and the only reason they are there is to bolster their flagging careers.

I tell what I would like to see : remember that consumer journo programme a couple of years ago where crims were told they had won a prize and had to go on stage to collect it, where 2 or 3 BiBs would nick them?

Spend some time with these crap drivers, get all the footage, then "arrange" a pull, whereby they get the book thrown at them, nay, somebody cuts their license up with a pair of scissors.

How is it there is documentary video evidence of these people driving without due care and attention and they don't get a knock on the door from plod??

To be honest, anything TV program with the word celebrity in it is going to be a big smouldering duffle bag full of toss anyway.

Shame on you lot for watching it.

Would it be any less tragic if she had mounted a kerb and killed a large adult?

My 12 year old son watched it in his room and had the cheek to suggest my driving was worse. As I did not watch it I am unable to disagree or agree with him, but have explained if there is anything he dislike about my driving he has 2 options. 1) Is walk and 2) is Keep it to himself !

scared but happy

I don't want to see her mount anything thanks.
Yet another 5 minute celebrity given the limelight by TV execs.

Did you not watch 'Death of celebrity' last night? i was amazed i actually agreed with Piers Morgan - but he hit the nail on the head with the program, although the chart was a little messed up...

John Noakes didn't seem to have any problems driving a Morris Minor in "Go With Noakes", so what was he trying to prove on a program like this one?

Or perhaps Shep was doing the driving
