I had a week in New Orleans about five years ago, very sad to see it now. We stayed at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon Street and had a private room at Pat O'Briens for a meal, stood on that balcony with a cocktail or four. All wrecked now. It will be back of course, and so will the tourists.

normally dont like sort of thing but is v interesting to see the non media coverage of it all - doesnt seem so bad in those photos "relatively" speaking - good stuff
