Hi All,

Anyone know where you can buy root beer in the UK ? Spent yesterday wondering round london to no avail :(

it is gorgeous but then again i spent a few years in Canada as a kid so my taste buds might be a little biased

Sainsbury's sell it by the 2.0 l bottle. Root beer is great!! And whats wrong with germolene? I often have crackers spread with thing delightful substance.

Ah yes, Burger & Root Beer in a frosted mug, hanging off my window as A&W's in Staten Island. Bought to the car on roller skates, too...

can't argue with that but then again in a country where you walk to school dressed in a full ski suit and balaclava due to the temperature being down to below -30C with the wind chill factor you're bound to go a bit strange

This is the best we have found in the UK - the supermarket ones don't taste right.

Their warehouse is quite close to us, but they do mailorder.

No.

Ginger beer is nice, it tastes gingery.

Root beer is horrible, it tastes of $hit.

American soda is not 'all that'. The only reddeming features of the american soda industry is root beer, and Dr pepper. The rest is just slightly flavoured gassy water.

Kids in Canada? Did you ever lick a metal pole in winter and have to get it thawed off? (Requirement for Cnadian Citizenship IIRC )

Am I right in thinking, when McDonnals were still a small restarunt chain, they used to have it on the menu. I tried it onec, when I was about 11, as it said "Beer" in the name....
