Back in the early days of PH, it was thought that Ted (before anyone met him) was probably some fatbloke who sat around all day eating pies... it's just kinda stuck.

And then Weebl & Bob came along and cemented the whole thing into history.

(Although 'pie' was already well-established on PH at the time, I should point out)

Do you remember the "Pies" rating?

And who could forget PetrolTed's Rants: Pies Matter!

I originally called the very first run out I arranged "PHers April Shower's Run" - Ted changed the name to "Pie and Drive" - after that - any run I organised had to be "Pie ..." And Drive, And Drive II, On The Beach, etc etc
