I now have visions of pigeons visiting your pool, early in the morning leaving their towels on the deck chairs...................

Ah, but was it of a high social standing or was it - heaven forbid - a working class pigeon that has pi55ed in the pool?

Is this thread an admittance code? Is the pigeon a codename for a bird. And could this bird be your missus that you have just found out is having a fling?

Is this bird now face down in your pool?

Lets hope not.

I used to work at an outdoor pool - found all sorts in there. Most days there was at least one frog or toad taking a break from the river just out the back

Ther were also a few more items....

well i hope at least it was a wood pigeon as they seem to be alot cleaner than the dirty ones in towns, you might need slightly less disinfectant in this case.

Just been the gym. The outdoor pool is closed again How could something so small produce something so big and so smelly and why do mothers who are very thick, very pretty and married to very rich ugly men not realise that feeding their toddler then letting them swim straight afterwards is proof of their stupidity to the extent that if they are not careful the government will be after them for the think tank on transport.

Of course it's "their" not there.

"there" is a statement of position: "over there", whereas "their" refers to possession "their towels". Where's YOUR butler?
