Toast and marmalade - results of my research
Discussion
I've tried various combinations, but have at last come up with the ideal breakfast dish-
Two slices of Kingsmill 'Moreishly Malted' thick sliced, toasted to just this side of starting to burn, thickly spread with Hartleys Thick Cut 'rich and bitter' marmalade. No need for butter etc, just the marmalade and the toast.Try it, I'm sure you will agree.

Totally agree - except for the marmalade.
I prefer Robinsons Silver Shred.
Or sometimes Roses Lime or Lemon and Lime.
Or a nice clear honey.

No, no, no. You're all wrong.
Toast (white, thick sliced), Carapelli spread and MARMITE (must be made by another person and brought to your bed with a cup of coffee, white, one sugar). That's the perfect breakfast
scrummy!!

That's just wrong. There's only one reason not to use butter, and that's when you're using fried bread (And yes, I do mean with marmalade
