I'm heading off to France tomorrow with a bunch of other folks. To avoid the M25 on a Friday afternoon, I'm thinking that meeting up in a pub somewhere near the M20 would be a good idea. Can anyone recommend a suitable venue please?

Thanks,

Steve

Any particular area you're looking at stopping? I know the M20 isn't the longest motorway ever but it still covers a few miles.

Don't know the area well, but say around junction 8 as a starting point.

The SEL Kent lot meet at the Rose & Crown at Dunton Green (just off the M25, by the M26 - so sort of near the M20).

They're used to TVR's and do bloody good food.

Drop NCS a line if you're interested.

I know the R&C, but wonder if it might be a bit too far North. Hmmm

Last year's Stelvio Run started from The Pepper Box at Ulcombe, near J8 on the M20 and Leeds Castle. That was OK and had reasonable parking for a dozen or so cars.

Is the parking any good there? There may be anything from 2 to 10 cars.

Ta,

Steve.

As far as I remmber yes, we had a Lotus meet there with quite a few cars. Road in was narrow and bumpy though.
