Today i went out for lunch with they people from work and we ended up in a little itlian place.

I sat down looked at the menu scanned through and realised i didnt like anything due to the fact i hate both cheese in any form and tomatoes in anyform too.:hurl:

To cut a long story short i ended up having chicken breast and plain pasta which was delicious to me but was watched eating by work peeps and restaurant stafflike i'd just landed from another planet.

Am I totally weird?

Quite frankly, who gives a shit, if you enjoyed it that's all that matters. I worry about 'normal' people - how boring must that be!?

Cheers,
Rob.

I often struggle with menu's cos I wont touch anything with mushrooms or seafood in. Amazing how many dishes have atleast one of those in!

We all have our tastes...you're not weird, your just you.

gosh that was nice of me!

No, apart for even going to an Italian restaurant when you don't like cheese and tomatoes!

Presumably going to an Italian restaurant wasn't your idea alone so, no, you're not weird and, in any case, the majority of restaurants offer an alternative to what most people would be expecting to find on the menu, although regrettably it's usually chicken nuggets and chips or something equally tasteless and unimaginative!

I would have sat outside and had a pasty, so I suppose you're not that bad.

no you aren't weird. I am a strict veggie, no fish, cows cheese etc AND I am allergic to mushrooms, I also don't drink tea or coffee. It was really difficult in Germany as meat is obligatory!!

Spaghetti carbonarra and garlic bread would have been tastier.

I dunno, get yourself to a NorthEastPH'er night out at Shafto's and see if you fit in. Mind you, the waiters at Shafto's look at you as if your weird when you try to order food, as if they don't want us to eat it.

My mistake, thought it was just a cream sauce.

But if you don't like garlic either, that means you probably don't like curry.

If that's the case then you're either definitely weird or Peter Kaye's dad.

Not wierd. So you don't like something? So what? Who cares? Everyone has something that they don't like etc, so just give anyone who looks at you wierdly two fingers and eat what you want!

My sister used to tell me she liked her lovers to be like Italian coffee, strong and dark and fragrant.

Nowadays she prefers them like pizza. Twelve inches with a cheesy crust.
