Yes pretty good had mine for a couple of months now, bit fiddley as the buttons are a wee bit small.
The only other issue is that the alumininum scratches up pretty badly if yo have it in your pocket with keys or coins
Its very nice to look at but no better as a phone than my old 6310
In short its ok as a phone but looks good

I rather fancy one of these. Tried to get one through Vodafone customer services but they said they won't have supply for a while.
Not up for paying a huge upgrade fee.
Heard that the 8800 can't use bluetooth to sync with a computer. Is this true? Was told that there was an 8800i coming out soon?!

Got one, looks damn sexy, even Ewen McGregor uses one in 'The Island'
As already said, buttons are a little small so for all you fat finger people, so sorry nothing to see here for you guys.
Is a phone, has a camera, FM Radio, WAP, Bluetooth, 64Mb internal memory.
The comment about bluetooth is wrong, works fine, connects up with outlook for contacts & calendar etc.
My two reservations about it are, battery life, seems to last 3 days max and the speaker seems a bit quiet, if you were walking down a busy road you would end up saying pardon a lot during a call.
But its nice, fits in the pocket easily.
It's not on Orange yet, I went to carphone warehouse, they asked if I was an existing customer, I said no, so they told me the phones in stock were all reserved, somewhat amazed by this attitude I walked into a nokia shop to get one as vodafone seem to have none in stock and nor did any of the other high street shops.
Functionally its no better than any other Nokia, but its shiny

I use the bluetooth to sync with my pc, can be slow but it works fine, use it for contact, calender and stuff to do! I use outlook 2003.
It s a cracking phone, i find it east to use, like most Nokia's though.
The camera is not up to much on it though compared to others on the market.

I've had mine for a week now and I love it.
It's basically a nokia 6230i in a party frock. Only other difference is the camera isn't as good nor does it have a removable memory card.
It looks very cool and I doubt I'll ever tire of opening and closing it!
Fingerprints show up quite easily on it and the battery life isn't great but its no worse than my friends K750i. The battery life has improved slightly after a few cycles (you also get two with the phone). I find the speaker volume is great, as long as I remember to align the speaker with my ear!
It was expensive but I think it was worth it.

Damn, I was quite keen until I read that - looks like my 6310i will have to do another year...
Shame, because the 8800 looks very stylish.
Agreed - 10 day standby with the odd bit of GPRS surfing and calls thrown in. Great phones that can stand alot of abuse! Until I can get a new phone that does that, I am not interested! Tried a Sony Erricson 3g jobby with Orange - 3 days standby, if that, so I gave it back....
I liked the look of the 8800 too....

It does come with two batteries, so would last a week without any trouble.

As did my 6310i. One set of charges can last me a month. Come on Nokia, get it together.
Ahhh - I am pleased I am not the only one that thinks like this...
5 spare batteries for 2 phones, numerous chargers and hands free kits mean the phone has got to be very very good for me to change.

Looks great, but the software is about 37 years out of date. For the money I would at least like a full symbian or smart phone operating system...
You're missing the point, less is more...
But the s/w is bang up to date, trust me
You wouldn't happen to be oldskool aka Vin Diesel who works for a mobile company by any chance?
