my stoopid Siemens sl65 phone thingy wont charge up, leaving all my numbers and back catalogue of filthy pictures and texts trapped on my phone (god alone knows why they don't save to the sim automatically, though I'm confident its a conspiracy of some sort). so, does anyone have a Siemens battery or charger that i could borrow for long enough to transfer all my stuff to the sim? id be really grateful, hell ill even pay. I'm currently doing a special on botulism and absinthe. it even comes with a little umbrella.

thanks in advance good people,
Nervy.

ps.apologies for the terrible 'seimen' pun. if it makes you feel any better, my sperm wont charge up either. though theres fractionally less of importance trapped inside that.

Try getting a V8 Seimen next time instead of an S6.

No idea where you are in the country.

I have the Siemens SL55 and also have numberous problems with it. It regularly turns itself off, especially when charging!

After mine did a similar thing to yours (eventually decided to start working again) I made hard copies of all my contacts!

Try freezing the battery, then try it again when it's defrosted.

Make sure you pop in in a plastic bag first.

yes, thank you vix

mines the same Lois, this is the 4th one vodafone have replaced for me, and its now being replaced some Motorola ooo-look-shiny-ooo-it-flips-oo-shiny-but-no-doubt-non-functioning-piece-of-tat. just need to get my stuff off it then i can have a small pyre dedicated purely to the good brothers Siemens (who ironically, if memory serves, were responsible for the first successful undersea comms cable, encased in gutta percha)(sorry have been carrying around that useless piece of information for years, seemed like to good an opportunity to pass up a pass off).

will that freezing trick actually work? or will it just charge up all my old food?

failing that, I'm based in Norfolk, could anyone do without theres for the amount of time it would take to post and be posted back?

Try freezing your penis, then try it again when it's defrosted. Don't use a plastic bag

Sl55/Sl65

are we talking phones or cars? sounds like they are both made as badly as each other should have gone for a nice reliable swede

Ahhh....not just me, then.

Got mine direct from Vodafone. Exchanged it four times for one that (almost) worked.

The fourth one (almost a bit more) worked after buying a £30 data cable and downloading new software.

Now dumped it for a Sony K750i. Lovely stuff......

Yes, but my son's using it at the moment.

Also got an old C35. Siemens use a different charger plug & battery for each model.

Don't know if they'll fit yours.

Are you near S Yorkshire / N Derbyshire?

If you don't get any joy, Google mobile phone batteries.....several online suppliers supply batteries from around £7...chargers too.

Nervous, why not just get an in car charger from your local supermarket? Most do them now, and it saves you a long trip to a phone shop. It might charge your phone and will only cost about £5. Some shops even sell batteries for popular phones!
