FIlm Question

i've been trying to remember a film for a while and i can't think of the title:

It's based around a chateaux in europe somewhere and all i can remember is one man (fairly distinguished old actor) hires another man (fairly well known young man) to kill someone for him, and he kills him on a train and the old man is on there as well and at one point all three of them are in a train toilet cubicle.

The the only other bit a remember is they lock up the house and the two of them defend it against some people trying to break in and kill the old man,

The only one I can think of with 'some' of those scenarios in it is Riply's Game, but I don't think that is the one you're trying to remember, as I don't recall an old man in it, so I'll shut up,,,,,!

Gah, for the first bit I thought it was Sleuth with Larry Olivier and Michael Caine, but there's no train toilet in that. Good film though.

When i first started reading the description it reminded me of 'The Mechanic' a good film for its time.

bugger must lear to read repliies before I post. Do I still get beer?

Top film is ripleys game one of those films I thought would be pap but turned out to be really nasty and violent
