no problem with that one.
i refuse to believe in something i cannot see, hear or smell. if i do something he she it does not like why not tell me?
some of the most evil people i have known have been regular worshippers of various religions.
imho if you are decent you are decent, why drag all this other nonsense into it.
having said that i dont think there is a religion that says go out and hurt people and be nasty, its just peoples interpretation for their own needs.
my mum is very religious and i am ok with that because the things that are important to her and her religion do not impact on anybody else or if they do only in a positive way. at her level, at least.

Fair enough. But what about something you feel? Like love, for example?

Some people claim sincerely to feel God. Surely their belief is as worthy of as much merit as yours in love?

Just food for thought.

Well that opens up an entire philosophical debate about whether we actually see, hear or smell anything...

You are all a figment of my warped imagination.

Luckily I'm undergoing psychiatric help, so you should all disappear soon ...

andy, nothing's wrong with a discussion on the existance of god(s), but why start a new thread just to proclaim "there's no god," especially when you already have another religious thread going? It's a bit too much, and this comes from a fellow atheist.
You can always go here: www.iidb.org

This one got started nearly 48 hours ago, but died a death. It got one response this evening and has since resurrected.

Andy did no wrong.
