Women and Diets...
Discussion
I employ an Office full of women, just recently we've had the Cornflake diet, the Cabbage diet and numerous other detox diets.
They've all gone on Holiday today, with the exception of one, my boss - So i've decided to have Fish and Chips for lunch, very nice they are too...
The best bit, i can eat them in peace and quiet cos the female boss has just got up and walked out in disgust, she started a diet today :hehe:

Oh this is so familiar. They also make exercise into a fad. Last month cycling, this month the gym, next month step aerobics.
FFS no pain, no gain! A leisurely 6 mile cycle bimble once a week is no farking use whatsoever. I was trying to do eight vigourous miles a DAY and it wasn't having much effect that I could see.

Excercising to lose weight is an utter waste of time - if you are over weight you have to stop eating so much food. End of. No excuses, no otherway to get arround it.
The only way to lose weight is to starve yourself, look at Starvin Marvin.

The thing that makes me laugh about female diets is that one week in four they can stuff themselves silly on chocolate and blame it on their period. And the resulting poor performance at their weigh-in that week is due to 'water retention', naturally.
When quizzed on this my wife retorted with asking what my excuse was for stuffing myself silly on chocolate 4 weeks out of four. My response was "I'm a man. I don't need an excuse".

When any bloke can tell them that 'cake retention' is far more common as a cause of obesity...Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

Oh yes! I've always heard that that is a great way to lose weight

Not true actually. When you stop eating your metabolism slows down as the body realises that starvation is setting in.
