Interested in other peoples experiences with wall mounted Hi Fi systems as I am thinking of purchasing one - what do like/dislike/rate or hate about them? Are the budget priced units really cra*, do you really need to buy the latest B&O integrated system?

I like B&O stuff, always have done, i'm sure people will be along to say its got inferiour sound qualities, but its the best bang for buck on the the eye candy stakes...

If you want something nice to look at why not just hang a picture on the wall. If you want something that is real hifi, not just a noise, then you'll have to look for something far more substantial.

If your interested in proper sounds look at wall mounting the speakers only, say Dynaudio 42W. For added extension a servo controlled sub like a Velodyne will pad things out. These little babies are a good starting point in hifi...

Hifi is like cars - there's no substitute for cubes (as your moving air). Unfortunately that's why my pro studio gear is really massive!
