A good mate of mine is off to NZ next week for 4 months, he is pratical joker and keep pulling joke on me so I wanna get back to him.

I have written a list "Must do in New Zealand" so he must complete the task with photo evidence. I've written so far - "Do the Haka with Maori", "Cut the wool off the sheep" and I can't think of anymore to do at New Zealand for him. Failing to produce the evidence (photo) will have to do something silly when he back in UK.

any idea?

Jet Boat, bungee jump, can't remember what it's called but they get in a big inflateable ball thing and roll down a hill, they've also got a concrete cresta run thing, all in or around Queenstown, failing that walk round East Auckland wearing t shirt saying mongrel mob poofters

Call Customs in Christchurch and "tip them off" about a drug smugging suspect who hides his stash very personally about his person. That'll make the trip memorable!

For a serious one:
in Queenstown you can do a rocket ride, it is an actual rocket/jet type thing about the size of a canoe. They strap you in superman style, it is connected to a cable and a central pivot, then you just fly off pulling huge g's. You have throttle control so it can pitch and climb and pull different cornering angles.

Or canyon jump. Go up big canyon, strap in to cable that is harnessed to the other side and jump off. We watched this from below in a white water raft. Really thought they were done for. Expected a smooth arc over the canyon but what you actually get is a vertical drop for about 15mtrs then sudden swing forward at about 50mph over the water about 4-5m above the surface.

Think it's called Zorbing, or Orbing, and it's only done in Rotorua.

Other things for him to do are:

Swim with dolphins in the Bay of Islands
Get photo of Sperm whale off coast of Kaikoura
Photo of himself with Mt.Doom (LOTR) in the background.
Bungee jump from beneath the Auckland Harbour Bridge into Auckland Harbour.
Hot Air Ballooning in Methven
Photo from on top of Franz Joseph Glacier (or Fox Glacier)

NZ is full of things to do. Even if he does achieve all of the above and more, you can rest assured that his wallet will be much lighter. These activities ain't cheap!
