Someone has done a favour for me, I'd like to buy something as a token of thanks. Budget ~£30.00

33 year old bloke, non-drinker, not into sport, baby due in 3 months. He's a dentist, so I had thought about a new set of pliars and a couple of hacksaw blades. ;) However, he's not someone I know particularly well, so it can't really be a silly gift.

I'm stumped, help please. :boxedin:

A gift token...

from Mothercare!

Sorry, I can't help. It's bad enough trying to think of suitable pressies for the men in my life, ie, father, brother, partner and male friends.

What about something along the lines of a swiss army knife, or something? Blokes have a fascination with tools and knives!

Maybe it's just me but I sort of collect knives, not really a formal collection but I just like them. My friends all know that I'll always welcome another quality knife. So I would suggest any sort of interesting looking pocketknife.

Or, if you think he wouldn't like (another) pocketknife, if he's into cars at, all how about a set of the new spanners with ratcheting boxed end? Quality tools are something the true motorhead can't get enough of.

Or some car detailing stuff, S100 or Zymol. You might come up with a kit for your budgeted amount.

Gift card at a restaurant he likes?

It might sound daft to most petrolheads, but expecting a baby I'd just get him and his missus a massive bunch of smelly flowers.
