Most demand that pets have all the usual jabs, plus kennel cough, so as long as he has those you should be alright... If there is a problem with him, you could try chanting 'OEN' over and over again.. Thats the great thing about cats, I can leave mine for a day or 2 as he has a big upside down keg thing that doles out food, and water!! No different to being in a cattery. He ignores me when I am home anyway.

Hardpad and distemper are sometimes needed but the most importent one is kennel cough. Also you MUST have all the jab papers and needs to be done a minimum of 2 weeks before boarding. Oh and don't worry about boarding at that age my Bassethound was a boarder at 3 months.
Check with the kennel in question.

For one night, would it not be cheaper and easier all round to get someone to house sit for you?
