OK it's been a long while since I played the National Lottery but thought I'd give it a go seeing as I'm having such a crap time...anyway I goes in and wow,

There's like a whole stack of slips to fill in, :eek: you're just mesmerised...

Euromillions
Thunderball
Daily Play Lotto

Lucky stars, lucky dips....you get the idea.

Somehow I think if you can master all this you're wasted doing the lottery...lol.

Anyway I played and won....wait for it....nada, zilch, nothing. Got to be in to win it though or something like that.

The Lottery is a tax on idiots.

I opted out of that scheme years ago.

If you must, then Premium Bonds cost nothing more than the interest your money would have earned if you had invested it properly.

At least you can get your money back after you have realised that you're not going to win anything...

Can't moan, I've had nearly three grand out of that and Ladbrokes. Even if it's cost me the same, at least I've broken even, which is more than most can say.

Tip: Ladbrokes Irish Lotto. Pick three numbers, bet £1, win £500. Slightly harder to win than the UK Lotto as you're effectively making a bet that exactly those three numbers (and not any three of 6) will be drawn, but it only took me 2 years to win £500. On the UK that'd have been a tenner...
Four numbers get you £4K (as opposed to £50-80) and five numbers £44000 (I won £2089 on the UK for five).
