I've just received a text from some "Free Ringtone!" saying would I like to download my free ringtone. Now, I've never requested one from anyone, ever! So I said no.

Is this some kind of scam where by if one was to say yes, you'd be charged for it? Never had a text like this before. Anyone else?

I got one of those today as well. Seem to have started getting them for some reason. I guess at some point it will cost you money so I just delete them....

Most give you a free ringtone, but by accepting it you sign up to their service, normally with a minimum of 6 texts from them at a cost of £1.50/msg to you.

This may work...

//edited out loads of code that didn't work//

According to preview it did work, all of the links would go to some subscribe thing if it wasn't on a forum.

edit - bah, it worked on preview, this is what you would've seen -
