I've changed my mind. I used to like Lotus', but I now realise they are just a bastard mongrel of other cars. They are built in a scrapyard, from old, knackered toyotas!!

'95 and later brakes were custom Brembo stuff and in 2000/2001 they went to AP (which I have retrofitted on including the blue calipers).

Gearbox is a Renault 25 box (customised).

They did do the engines. I don't know about the 4-cylinders, but the V8 is $35,000 per copy if you happen to pop it. The 918 (V8) reaches about 70% of it's potential in factory trim due to the fact that if you ran it in ultra tune you would probably snap your half shafts in short order...

They also did the gorgeous body...

i have an awful fear it is one of the square, front wheel drive ones that look like a wedge of cheese. Just spoke to the seller and she said she thought it was front wheel drive.... or is it to early to be one of those? should be going to view it tuesday pm

If its an AE86, its .... err .... not worth much .... err .... your best bet is to sell it to me for a tenner. Horrible cars
