The cars need to have thier bonnets open when we run them, the bonnet stays however do not really stop a bonnet going backwards...

The Solution is a Bungee cord, but it needs to be short enough to hold the bonnet on the catch, and long enough to not bend the bonnet..

oops. Vixpy, you beat me to it

We used our fan at uni with the bonnet closed; but then, it was only 2/3 the size, and we mostly cooled brakes with it.

Well, turn the fan down and the cooling power is reduced, so i decided to just let it run full pelt.
