Have you had a reduction in Spam recently?

Since that Russian spammer met his maker I have had a big reduction in spam.

I am on NTL Broadband.

my work e-mail has had an increase in spam, it is awful about 20 per day selling viagra etc

Can't say I've noticed - but then I have anti-spam measures dealing with hundreds of spams a day to my public email addresses and rarely look at the stats these days.

I'm just using Thunderbird's built-in spam detection at the moment and I must say it's fantastic.

Of course, there are more powerful alternatives, but it seems I don't need them at the moment. I have been careful to use disposable email addresses, etc. whenver giving my address out so I think that helps.

I've never had spam to my work address, and very rarely have spam to my personal address either

I seem to receive almost continuos spam. I put plenty of filters in place, but now the spammers are deliberately miss spelling their words to get through my filters, cheeky gits.

Yes, if you with NTL, the spam level as dropped significantly!

For me, down from 100 to 10 a day!
