Red Letter Days - WARNING!

I hope this doesn't buck the no name and shame rule - but a warning is needed!
Mrs Puggit is booked on a driving experience day with Red Letter Days this Saturday, up at the track at Loughborough. Just received a call from the company at the track stating that RLD owe them £200,000 which is apparently unlikely to appear (ie it's not a glitch) - as such they need to cancel our booking.
As a sign of goodwill the racing company are offering us the event at £57 - which is their cost price and half of what RLD charge.
RLD are refusing to refund us - saying they will extend our voucher. Where do we stand?

Jeez out of interest (boring accountant type) I just reviewed their accounts --- its doesnt make for good reading.. the last filed accounts are the 03 accounts with the 04 set being overdue for filing since Febuary!! 
Last year pre tax losses of just over £4million with no further investment and assets slipping through their fingers like a hot knife through butter... technically this company is trading insolvent

Careful what you say on that front, as it could be construed as accusing the directors of having committed/being in the process of committing wrongful or fraudulent trading.

Sounds like he is interpreting what is in the public domain to form an opinion, which may or may not be correct. I haven't seen the docs so obviously don't know what they say, just a gentle warning to be careful.

Your referring to www.p1international.com (not connected with Red Letter Days in any way).
I visited recently and will be doing a feature on them soon.
It's a hire club though - you sign up for a year at a time.
