Just caught the last half hour (I was finally getting the problem with the car sorted!!) but saw the agent, buried in the fire-ant infested box, getting released etc.

It was originally scheduled to be shown last week but was dropped because of sensitivities regarding the scene of the criminal with the bomb strapped to his chest.

I think William Petersen (along with Tarantino) was the key to the success of this 'special' (34 million Americans watched it).

I think that was bloody good! thought it had some definate Tarantino moments, like when they uncovered the dog and the CSI guy was hearing something at the same time.

guess that means nothing to everyone that didn't see it

Even Tony Curtis was in it!!

It was a very good episode, very tarantino in places, especially where Stokes and Warrick were chatting in the locker room.

But it was very well done, my lady and I enjoyed it very much. Anyone know when CSI Miami returns?

Err, wasn't it a 2 hour episode, one from 9 til 10 then the concluding part from 10 til 11 making it a 2 hr television type film??

Was Roper the gambler? I had that odd feeling that he was familiar but couldn't place him. I also spotted Frank Gorshin (who has since died) in the scene with Tony Curtis - Frank was of course the only true Riddler.

Is that the one where H has to travel to New York? I didn't realise the significance of setting up the NY scene when I first saw that episode and, whilst Sinise is nowhere near the William Peterson genius of Grissom, he leaves Caruso looking.... um .... "lame"???

NY is strong in many respects, love Stella and Danny's sailing close-to-the-wind-antics is fab!

As far as Miami, I have heard on good authority that the last of the next Miami series that we'll get in Blighty is a right tear-jerker/stunner. I almost don't want to see it as one of my fave characters is "in trouble" - to say the least!

Enough hints.
