Anyone else have an incredible weekend?

I Did, and I'm still happy about it, and it's still sunny.

Why? Well the Dubs won the Leinster title and are off to the Quaters of the All-Irelands.

Probably means nothing to anyone, but hey, It was still a great weekend.

..and the blimmin' patio isn't even flat. I'll probably end up lifting a line of slabs again.

Then I went to the in-laws for a BBQ.

Not so bad, then...

I collected my latest car...a Focus!!!

...but we did end up visiting some friends on the spur-of-the-moment, stayed for hours and had an improptu BBQ, while watching the heavies orbit outside of Fairford!

...oh, and the Focus...is actually really not bad at all...was expecting worse, but I'm quite impressed!!!

I had a lovely weekend, went to the beach on Sunday and watched nieces and nephews run around in the sea.....the three year old falling over and finding it hysterical always makes me smile.....

Saturday, Picked up a 2 month old Boxster, drove it back from Notts. on all the A roads with anniesmum, stopped for lunch and got burnt.

Sunday, went to VMAX and posted a 149 and got even more burnt. Had to drive back on Sunday with my VMAX cap tilted to the side, looking a right herbert to stop my left ear from burning in the sun.

My weekend was allright I suppose, covered about 500 miles.

Best mates stag w/e in Barcelona. Deep sea fishing on Saturday (I managed to contribute some bait of my own:-), then a stroll on the Rambla and one or two drinks.

Went to some friends new local on Friday - a proper pub where there's no dance music playing and you can talk and have a good laugh and they serve proper beer (Sam Smith's).

Spent Saturday recovering with Constantine and Million Dollar Baby to watch.

Most of Sunday spent at a tattoo convention, then restrung two of my guitars and did a bit of maintenance on them.

All in all, good weekend.

Great weekend - friends wedding on saturday in sunny Salisbury & top down driving around the South Coast on Sunday. Burnt to a crisp but still buzzing from the weekend.

Mine wasnt too bad.

I spent saturday at a friend's grandads 100th birthday party. Pigging out on bbq food and then going on an adult size bouncy castle wasn't the best idea I have ever had though

I spent sunday cleaning my new car for the first time, before taking it for a blat in the evening

Spent most of the weekend asleep, in between reading 'evo'.

Best of all, my dad made me a huge cake.

I had a great weekend, had a legendary night in nottingham with wildfire and on saturday (against all the odds) made it 75 miles to cadwell park to drink beer and engage in pistonheads-live while gathered round a log fire in a field and then on sunday I watched the excellent classic thunder and associated races all through the day before actually making it back in the VW beetle i'd bought specifically to get me there only 22 hours before!

unfortunately i'm now back at work and i'm so p1ssed off that I am seriously considering buggering off somewhere

Gorgeous weekend and I don't care who knows it!

Fri night - saw Brian Wilson in concert in Brum. Awesome!

Sat - 40 mile bike ride to Hook Norton for beer festival with friends. Train back. Delectable meal out in evening with equally delectable girlfriend. Something really clicked

Sun - more girlfriend followed by watching tour de france with beer, and ogling of girlfriend sunning in the garden. Evening - bbq with friends till 1am.

Mon - very late for work

and spent sunday evening round my parent's house chilling in the garden.

Yes. I had a cracking weekend. Stag weekend in Barcelona. Boutique hotel. Dinner on boat. Old friends. Great clubs. Great bonking with a fantastic girl.

This is going to be a crushingly slow week.
