ive been offered another cortina which ive been after for a while,my wife has come around to the idea BUT i need to sell my henna red 2-door 1984 bmw 323i to get it.......but how much should i ask for it?

i bought the car in 1996,my father-in-law had it from 97-2001 and then i bought it back,it was on the road from aug 01-aug 02,layed up till nov 02 then ran till nov 03 when i bought the cortina out to play,when the box failed on the cortina she was bought back out in febuary 04 and ran up until jan 05 when a core plug failed (the engine is still perfect though as luckily i was in traffic and i stopped as soon as it happened) and i decided to get the cortina back out.
ive got shedloads of reciepts totalling over 6k over the last few years,the car has done 160,000mls but the engine is still spot-on as the previous owner had it blueprinted back in 1994,this is now not relevent though as unfortunatly the head gasket failed last year but whilst i had that done,the condition of the head and any excess piston movement were checked for at the same time (all is well).
over the last 10-15k its had....
1.a new clutch (£175.36 - fitted 25/2/02)
2.the gearbox seals all replaced along with the selector overhauld and nylons replaced (£479 at fairfield bmw - fitted....this was after taking £300 off in labour charges!) )
3.the exhaust has had a new manifold,downpipe and center section,the rear box is a scorpion twin dtm stainless job.(sounds great)
4.the interior was changed from the nasty original type to a set of 1990 cloth recaro's.(£150)
5.the n/s/f brake calliper was changed in december 04 when the old one decided to lock solid when i went to change the pads (£90 fitted)
6.new radiator (£106.81)
7.sump gasket and shaft seal replaced (45.91 + labour)
8.alpina replica alloys fitted with 205/50/15 tyres (all vertually new)
9.scorpion air filter
10.performance spark plugs (multi-point)
11.new leads/dizzy cap/rotor arm (from bmw)
12.s/hand n/s electric window motor
13.new rear suspension dampers (£105 - fitted at kwik-fit,checked by bmw)
14.new water pump fitted sept 03
15.new h/d battery fitted nov.04
it has had more done but i think you get the point,the car has been spoilt,whatever its wanted its had.
now.... i was going to keep it myself,rip the rear seats and any excess weight out and use it as a track day car as its an ideal car to use imho but now this car has come up i need the money and the space....so she has to go.
considering the money spent and the work that has been done to her,the fact that she's in good condition and that she only needs a core plug (about a quid) and possibly a couple of other silly little bits for the mot i was looking for 'around' £500 for her.
extra info: the mot ran out 25/2/05 (she has not been taken down for a new test),the car is on s.o.r.n and has been garaged when not in use.

Sigh!thats a gutter mate,seriously........i realy want the car to someone who'll look after it and seeing as ive kept up with you and your spartans many exploits i know you'd do that.
if you do decide you want to look further into it then im sure a member of p.h who's near southend could come round and give you their impartial opinion and then you'd be able to make your mind up about wether its worth you going into it or not.
i could possibly even arrange to get it bought up to you on a low loader for a v.good price as a mate of mine in enfield delivers cortina's all over the country.....so an e30 bmw wouldnt be a problem for him.
