Jetski in Newquay

Off to Newquay soon - fancy having a go on a Jetski - does anyone know of places down there?

Just spent a frustrating 15 mins on google trying to find somewhere without success!

Try and pick up a copy of Jet Skier magazine - IIRC available in WH Smiths.
I think it lists all the hire places at ther back.

Haven't seen any down at Newquay.

Rock seems to have some kind of Watersports/sailing thing IIRC.

Not seen any myself at Newquay either. They do not tend to mix well with surfers!!

There are a couple of places that offer it in Cornwall here (select Cornwall in the window).

edited to say that I do not know if those places hire. I think they are just clubs, but may be able to help

Pretty sure you can rent them at St Ives, so did a quick search and there looks to be contact info here www.destination-cornwall.co.uk/jetski.htm . Might be worth doing that if you fancy a day away from all the chavs at Newquay

I was hoping to avoid Newquay itself - as you say it is likely to be full of chavs!

It is the biggest place local to where we are staying though.
