call me a sentimentalist if you like but standing outside our factory on an industrial estate in Mansfield with all the other companies employee's doing the same thing in a silent tribute to those unfortunate innocent people from last thursdays bombing was a moving experience.

My thoughts are with those who were affected by this heinous act. My sentiment for the day.

I usually don't go in for the "oh somethings happened that we can make political capital out of, let's have a 2 minute silence" bollox but this one deserved a moment or two's remembrance

I was really quite moved. My office overlooks the A3, and a large number of cars were stopped on both sides. Kind of eerie, but poignant.

That was seriously intense, I've never seen anything like that before, the cars and vans just stopped in the street, thousands of people lining the roads, all absolutely silent, no mobile rings, nothing. Awesome, wierd, moving.

it was no different here in bridgford, everyone kept moving completely oblivious to it

I was listening to a cd in the car on Dublins M25 when all the cars started pulling over. Turned over to the radio to check that it was indeed 12 o'clock, but all the stations had gone quiet too. Very very eerie. Silence on the busiest road I know, was a strange experience.
