Just signed up to Homecall phone and broadband package total cost £35.00 pm includes unlimited national and local calls line rental and half meg broadband all happened very smmothly and works just fine i have no doubt there will be a problem sometime but at the moment i cant find one. Credit where credit is due highly reccomended.www.homecall.co.uk .

Not having cable, I prefer to keep my phone and BB deals seperate. More flexible.

It is crucial when looking at any alternative provider that you look at where you call and how long you are on the phone for, as in example most companies that offer free Local and National Calls at certain hours will jack up the cost of those calls at other times and will certaily jack up the cost of mobile calls. If 90% of the calls are to people on Mobiles then your bill will be a lot more than you expect. Generally speaking Mobile to Mobile is cheaper than Land line to Mobile.

Minimum call charges are also a bit of a scam - if you think the amount of times you phone somebody and go oop its a voicemail bump and put the phone down, only to discover that 2 second phone call just cost you a minute and a half - this is how companies can offer call rates that appear to be good to be true (they normally are).
