If I hadn't moved house on Friday/Saturday back up to central Headingley I would have been one of the 500 unlucky people that have been evacuated and still not allowed back in their houses in Burley.

Makes you think, when you realise there are people out there they are quite happy to turn their homes in bomb making factories right in the middle of residential estates and not thinking of the consequences.

I hoping there are no is backlash planned as I remember the last time it kicked off in Leeds and literally every car down victoria rd was torched, people in Leeds can vouch for how long that is (several hundred metres) and what mess and chaos it caused that time.

Mother in law was evacuated from work (Hyde Park Day Centre), they were using the building as a kinda surveilance post or something. Said the Police acted like a right bunch of tosspots. Basically threw 30 odd elderly people out into the car park (it was furkin hot yesterday) and wouldn't allow them into the building for belongings/refreshment/food or anything.

Makes me laugh when they described the bronx of beeston like any other town/street/estate in the country. It's not! It's bloody grim as furk!!

And I wish they wouldn't let Leeds doleites speak on telly. They make us look like a right bunch of 'tards.

A bit scary though, "not in my back yard" please!!!

Was trying not to think like that but some of the people they picked to interview, well lets just stop there before I insult someone.

Tho was very impressed as to how quick they managed to track them down to Leeds, but no doubt the protesters will start to kick off saying how everyone is innocent adn cause more trouble now several people have been arrested........ call me a sceptic!!

The Hyde Park arrest was just up the road from where my G/F lived while she was at uni there. The mosque they showed on the news was about 5 doors up the road. Scary stuff.
Good work by the BiB for tracing it all so quickly though.

If its the mosque I think it is, its brudenell road or royal park road as both run past the mosque.
