medical help

Symptoms:

Slight headache
Slightly blocked sinuses
Don't have a runny nose
Itchy/sore throat

My voice has almost completely vanished, its extremely difficult to talk now, resulting in much hilarity on the phone. Is there anything I can buy that might make my throat work again :D

Anyone got any clues? CBA with the local GP as its not really that serious IMO.

If it's anthing like I had, it'll turn into a snotty head cold and knock you on your arse for 24 hours.
I just drank loads of fluids then knocked myself out with an old lemsip made with a large slug of rum.

Two disolvable aspirin in a very small amount of water and gargle. Usually will bring your voice back for an hour or so. Although you obviously can't repeat the dose every hour.

Drambue seems to work almost as well but I'd never tell a patient to do this.

I think I'm gonna stop giving med advice on PH and go back to cars. Society's getting too litiginous.

Nice vintage whiskey. Gargle a bit, then have a couple of good doubles, neat. Should help / numb the problem
