Firstly, great to see the support of the PH massive yesterday. Feel attached to London and I am understanding the mentality which survived the blitz etc.

On a lighter note. Parked at Stanstead last night while escaping back to Ireland for the weekend. Parked the car as far away from other cars as possible, next to a bush (one less side to worry about people parking next to) AND I THEN PROCEEDED TO BREAK A NUMBER OF OVERHANGING BITS OF SHRUBBERY (might scratch the paintwork!).

Anyone else have stories of car related obsessive behaviour not appreciated by SWMBO?

I think my mates think Im mad when I park up in a public carpark and take a picture with my phone of the cars parked either side - just in case...! Better safe than sorry hey!

After I've left my car in the car park, I always glance back to look at it, walk backwards two steps and then carry on... not sure why I do it, think its a hangover from the days of Remote Central locking

It must have been part of my 'shooting' routine

Always used to get the goat of my ex... even when I had remote central locking and had an excuse

Just spent a week in France, did 1280 miles and I still insisted on washing & waxing the car three times because it was SOOOO dirty! The grumpy I live with thinks I am mad!

Yep. Spending 2 hrs polishing a £300 POS Rover so that I don`t look too out of place when I meet the rest of the Furballers tomorrow.
