electrical voltage advice with origin B2 needed

I have an origin B2, I need to update it, but cant find the power plug.

Anyone know what power it takes? I have dozens of adapters, ranging from a few volts up to 13 or so... plenty of connections, but the B2 doesnt say what juice it sucks, and I need to update it tonight.

Help, anyone? :)

UKbob, from the back of the Origin B2 plug it's 12VAC, 500mA or 12VDC 250mA

On a similar subject,
could a Road Angel be battery powered, in the same way the Garmin is sometimes.

I'd like to put the RA up near the rear view mirror, but since there is no power to be had, I wondered whether a batt hook-up might be practical

Cheers mate. What about polarity? I spoke to a friend on the phone who said if you dont know what polarity the B2 is, dont plug anything in, you could fry it
