Posting links, ebay for instance, how?

Technophobe hat on again folks,
How do you post links to things as we see very often on here, for instance links to live ebay nightmares.

I have seen a few things that I would like to share with you all but unfortunately the grey matter has let me down again.

you can post the link straight into the forum without any formatting and it will display....

However, if you want to get a bit clever and do something like 587racing ... quote my post and have a look at the formatting...

The seperating character is the pipe and is achieved with shift and the backslash...

All I do is copy the bar at the top and paste it into the message box (scruffy but it works)! Then I check preview to see if my link is OK

When posting a reply look at "formatting codes" which appears to the left of the message box.
