Saw a similar piece of footage about a year ago in similar circumstances. A pilot unfamiliar with a certain type of helicopter turned it on its side after spinning

It was a birthday present for somebodys dad in Norway. The old man had never been in a helicopter so apart from this "ride" he also got a ride in an Air Ambulance afterwards.

I think this video was posted on PH about a week ago. The old chap who was being given the helicopter ride as a 100th birthday present, later died of his injuries.

Yes, This was on the news a week or so ago, notice that the blades chop off a street lamp (on the left) from it's post just before the crash.

That's what I was thinking at first but the intakes look wrong, it's too 'tall', the MI-8 as I recall it, was longer and had round porthole style windows. (I remember them, having stuck my head through to take better photos - I also remember the unlit candle in a saucer next to the long range fuel tanks but that's another story...)

Family resemblance though - possibly a MI-2
