Kev looks OK, but what has happened to Bev? Has Kev replaced Bev because she was holding him back when it came to choosing cars? Was it Bevs' problems getting a Car Loan that convinced Kev to look for pastures new? Was poor Bev secretly knocking off rich Kev, so has been incorporated into poor Kevs' new patio whilst being replaced by new Bev from accounts, with poor poor Bevs' life insurance funding Kev and new Bevs' latest Volvo trade up?
Old Bev would never have used words like "Whizzier" either.....
We should be told.........

No, they foreclosed on the security for the original loan and Bev is now the property of No Car Credit Inc. who have put her to work in their Amsterdam 'office' untill the loan is repaid. I understand that a few of our members have been planning a secret rescue mission for next weekend...
I'm pleased to say I hadn't even noticed. As soon as the ad comes on I turn over or do something else!
My vote for most irritating advert is the bumbling t
t with Norwich Union who boasts about how many accidents he's had. Not a great ad for road safety is it, and I certainly don't want to be associated with him.

Couple driving a clapped-out 480 "see themselves" (that must have been the ad exec's pitch) in a MK1 S40. Fair enough. The current car was on it's last legs and you needed a new one. The loan was a secondary issue to that premise.
But - and this really irks me - is in the new version of this advert (with the silver S40 from the last ad and the new C70) - "Bev" is heard to say "we just fancied something a bit sprucer" (or words to those effects). So, getting a loan has gone from a necessity to a life style choice -- argh!!
Consumerism for consumerism's sake in it's very worst form, imho.

All joking aside, a particularly good point, very well made....
