What I find so hard to believe is that, even if it is one third, that flagrantly declares that they're ignoring two thirds - which is a massive majority - of road deaths which aren't attributable to excessive/inappropriate speed.

Same old government "tweaked" statistics from the Transport 2000 rep. When faced with the fact that road deaths have actually gone up since the introduction of cameras, Transport 2000 rep comes out with the masterful reply "only a little bit" Um, so how does that prove that speed cameras "save lives".

This completely blinkered approach to road safety really is a crock.
