God hates hippies

I work in Shepton Mallet, just a couple of miles from Worthy farm, and from about 5am this morning there has been a continuous thunderstorm with very heavy rain going on, and it looks like the worst of it is right over the place!

p.s. I like festivals and am a closet hippie, but im allowed to be bitter this year as I'm not going :)

Said on radio one that at least 200 tents were underwater. Serves them all right for liking Basement Jaxx.

Weather should be clearing up this afternoon for the festival go-ers. Have been told though that there's 3 feet of water in some of the camping areas, tents have been washed away and some acts are reluctant to perform because of the conditions surrounding the stages. Add to that a few short powercuts this morning and it looks like being a 'fun' day!!
