Pigeon nest on balcony...advise please!

Just returned from a week away to find my balcony covered in bird crap:vomit:
Upon investigation I find two pigeons sat in the corner not looking like they want to move. A few loud noises and they flutter off...leaving two eggs.
Now, obviously they return every couple of minutes and watch me and then return to their eggs if I go back inside.
What to do?
Pigeons are flying rats and I dont want them to cover my seats and table in crap for the next few weeks.
Any ideas welcome?!

Are these town or country pigeons?
There is a big difference. The former are total vermin, the latter are quite nice.
If they are the former, remove the eggs and destroy them.
It might sound harsh, but it's the best solution all round in terms of health and pigeon populations.
Rats carry about 7 diseases communicable to humans, Town Pigeons carry around 47 diseases communicable to humans, including certain strains of meningitis.
And some idiots still feed them bread...

You don't have to destroy them as removing the eggs should be enough. The shouldn't return as they weren't there before Rob went away, due to activity.
I meant destroy the eggs. But destroy the pigeons too if you get the chance. That's up to you.
