Grisly accidents

An electrician told me once, he was working with others when one chap, whose hands were near some very heavy duty wires were magnetically pulled onto the wires. The circuit was unbreakable, and without shutting down the city it was not possible to shut down the power. Poor chap spent the best part of half an hour boiling and smouldering.

When i finished school, I got a part time job in a petrol station for 4 months. One day the electricians came in, the chaps indoors were supposed to shut down the power but didnt, and I watched a guy on the forecourt, on his knees with his hands down a hole, face 20 seconds of electrocution. The screaming was so horrendous my knees were still knocking long after the ambulance (which I called) took him away.
