'A friend' had a BBQ on the beach tonight, and after feeding the gabbling skyrats bread and potatoes, lobbed over a lamb chop bone. Thinking the gull would peck the meat off the bone, he watched in shock horror as the bird swallowed the bone hole.

The bone was (with the trangulation of 3 points as per all normal lamb chop bones) the size of a small mobile phone!

Guessing that seagulls cant vomit, will it die when it tries to shit a three pointed bone the size of an orange?

Judging by the size of the turd currently gluing my wipers to the screen id have to say that a seagulls arse is very likely to be as wide as its humungus front end.

My advice is to steer well clear of any flying creature that has such a big arse, especially if you know whats good for you....

No it won't die. You'd be surprised at what Herring gulls can get down their necks. Their stomach acids are very strong. Why do people think they are skyrats? the only reason is because they are successful on the backs of humans.
They are great birds that mate for life and can live upto 50 years.

Nono, I'm a land pigeon. Sea pigeons are different. They can digest anything. Their digestions are even more capable than dogs'. That bone won't be out until it's been reduced to its chemical constituents. They actually shit very little - the droppings may be large, but most of the dropping is just white, which is uric acid, the solid that birds excrete instead of pissing. Compare a goose dropping, which is mostly dark matter, undigested cellulose and the like.

Much the same effect from N pints of Guiness and
(N-1) packets of Mr Porky Pork Scratchings - if you
eat the wrappers.

And why uric acid you may ask? Well it's a lighter way of storing nitrogenous waste compounds, which in a flying animal is important.

Doesn't everyone know that?
